

Golden Turmeric Milk

Equipment
- 1 Saucepan or Microwave
- 1 Mug
- 1 Measuring Spoons
- 1 Spoon
- 1 Frother optional
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened, unflavored plant milk
- 2 Tablespoons Date Paste #2
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon Turmeric, ground if you're new to turmeric, try the lower amount first. It's a powerful spice.
- 1/2 teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla, pure (preferrably no alcohol) or use vanilla powder
- 1 pinch Black pepper, freshly ground This works in synergy with the turmeric
Instructions
- In a high-speed blender or food processor combine all ingredients for @2 minutes. Heat in microwave for a minute or in a saucepan over medium heat until warm (alternatively, you can just whisk it all up in your mug and then heat)
- Now froth your drink with a frother. This makes the drink extra special but it's not needed for the health benefits, except for mental health (if it makes you happy, it will improve your health!) Sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top to tap into your inner barista.
Notes
Please use Ceylon cinnamon if you use cinnamon regularly, as I do, which is usually every day. While Ceylon is milder tasting than the more common “cassia” cinnamon, it is also safer for you, while still being healthy:
