Tai Chi
Testimonials
Tai Chi was recommended to me by Dr. Daohe Fang, CMD, a native of China, and a lifelong Tai chi teacher/practitioner. Tai Chi was prescribed as a practice of physical fitness that would help to rehabilitate a lumbar spine injury of many years. Having practiced yoga and various other programs for decades to help with the lumbar dysfunction, Tai Chi has been the most successful therapy I have ever experienced. The new student will soon find an atmosphere of family ... present in the educational philosophy ... the focus on students practice, and also in its very origin ... very simply an excellent example of teaching martial arts while helping and caring for all the families they touch. In the words of a great philosopher: "Example is not the main thing in influencing others. It is the only thing." -- Albert Schweitzer, Nobel Peace Prize Winner 1952

I cannot say enough good things
Testimonials
I cannot say enough good things ... The instructors are great, highly skilled, and very encouraging. I found it to be challenging, good exercise, a great stress reliever and great fun! There are various levels of Tai Chi classes provided as well; that offer challenges in movement, balance, memory (some of the forms are quite long) very young to the not so young (like myself)

Highly recommended!
Testimonials
Highly recommended! A long time ago, a doctor suggested Tai Chi after my back surgery so I took a few Tai Chi classes. So after many years and lots of hard work, I'm in better shape than ever. It's a complete workout: yoga-type stretches, core conditioning, cardio, strength training, along with the mind, body and spirit ... keeps me healthy and active so I can enjoy competitive sailing, skiing, backpacking and the occasional 5k. As an extra bonus, my kids love going with me, so they also get the health benefits plus self-defense training, discipline and a cultural education. Lastly, a it's a great community of people, anchored by the caring and dedication of ...the instructors.
