- 1 Knife
- Measuring Spoons
Ingredients
- 3-5 Hot Peppers your choice of the type and the heat level you want. Habaneros, jalapenos, cayenne pepper are examples of
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 TBSP ginger, fresh, minced OR grated
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp salt (OPTIONAL)
Instructions
- Sauté peppers, garlic, and ginger in water until fragrant, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Season pepper mixture with curry powder and salt (optional).
- Reduce heat to low and cook to let the flavors blend, 1 to 2 minutes.
- Transfer pepper mixture to a blender; add mango cubes and blend until smooth.
- Pour blended mango mixture into the saucepan, bring to a simmer, and cook until slightly thickened, 5 to 10 minutes. IF you have a high-speed blender, mixing on the “soup” mode may help thicken the mixture enough so that you don’t need to cook it on the stove (especially when using frozen mango).
